C’est naturellement que la marque Pure a porté son dévolu sur le chanvre comme matiàre premiàre pour la réalisation de ses sacs. En effet ce fut l’une des premiàres plantes domestiquées par l’homme pour la confection de vêtements, puis le chanvre tant apprécié pour la robustesse de ses fibres servit à la création de cordage pour le marché naval. En outre le chanvre est une plante rudérale, c’est-à-dire qu’elle pousse facilement et ne nécessite pas de pesticide.
