Choosing the right size

To find shoes that fit well, you need to measure your feet correctly. There are several quick and easy ways to find your size. Here are 3 of them:

The professional pedimeter

This professional tool measures the length of a foot. Fun and perfectly suited to children’s feet as well as adults’, it is very quick and easy to use: ideal for measuring your own size or checking your children’s during the season.

This pedimeter is available on our website.

How does it work?

  1. Place the pedimeter on the floor.
  2. Standing up, put your right heel on the rounded mark and keep the rest of your foot flat (toes spread out). Stand up straight and look ahead.
  3. Slide the white tab to the tip of your foot, on the scale.
  4. Read your size. If the pedimeter shows 2 values, take the larger one. That’s it, you know your size!

The printable pedimeter

Click the button below to print our pedimeter on a standard sheet of paper (A4, actual size, 100% scale) and measure your foot on it:

  1. Print the pedimeter and place it on a flat surface on the floor.
  2. Stand up and put your foot flat (toes spread out) on the sheet, making sure your heel is right at the back of the space provided.
  3. Read your size on the scale.

As one foot can be larger than the other, measure both feet and go with the larger size. For example, if your foot is between a 38 and a 39, round up to the next size: your size is 39.

Measuring in cm

You can also use a blank sheet of paper to measure your foot.

How does it work?

  1. Put your foot flat on a blank sheet of paper and trace its outline with a pen.
  2. Repeat with the other foot.
  3. Measure the maximum length with a ruler or a tape measure.

To convert this measurement into a French (EU) size, we use the French system, or Paris point, in which the length in cm equals 2/3 of the size. For example, if your foot measures 25.9 cm, the formula is 26 cm / 0.666 = 39: your French size is 39.

For children’s feet, remember to leave a margin of about 1.2 cm at the front of the foot. This is the growth margin (a child’s foot grows by 3 mm every 30 days on average).

About the brand

A brand famous world-wide Everyone knows ‘Crocs’ brand, thanks to its iconic unisex clog. We all have a pair at home. Perfect for strolling in the city, walking in the country, chillin’ at the beach on holiday, or resting at home, as your true slipper companion. An peculiar name ‘Crocs’ may seem like an odd name for a shoe brand, but it’s actually a good call when you get to know its origin story. ‘Crocs’ is short for ‘crocodiles’. Remember in 2002, the brand initially sported a friendly croc on its logo, which eventually evolved into a more refined version. But why choose this name for these shoes? Simply because crocodiles are strong and resistant animals, and they have no natural predators. Crocodiles are as comfortable on land as in water and live a very long life. Here you go: the perfect description of Crocs shoes! A unique and revolutionary concept Do you know the secrets behind Crocs’ legendary comfort? Their design incorporates a structure that supports the arch of the foot, acting like a spring that absorbs the shocks of walking and helps you stride the next step. In addition, the insole is equipped with nubs that stimulate blood circulation. Finally, the orthopedic cutout of the heel helps support and protect it when you walk. Let’s not forget the adjustable heel strap, which can be placed at the front of the foot to make your Crocs mules, or at the back, for better support. And also the anti-slip outsoles, which do not mark the deck of boats or yacht. But the key asset that Crocs shoes have, that other don’t, is the Jibbitzs, these little pins that you insert into the holes of the shoes to customize them.
