Depuis plus de 80 ans Gala Gloves conçoit et produit des gants en cuir en suivant minutieusement les préceptes de l’artisanat napolitain. Les étapes de fabrication se divisent en 25 phases bien précises, du tannage du cuir à la sélection des peausseries, en passant par sa découpe, ou sa couture, jusqu’au rigoureux contrôle qualité. Le but : obtenir des pièces uniques, parfaitement imparfaites, comme l’exige tout travail artisanal. Gala Gloves, c’est aussi une affaire de famille, où chacun apporte sa pierre à l’édifice. Le nom de la marque est d’ailleurs composé de la première lettre des prénoms des membres de la famille : Gaetano, le père, Antonietta, son épouse et artisane experte, Lorenzo, le fils ainé et Alessandro, le plus jeune fils, qui dirige maintenant l’entreprise. Ensemble, avec leurs talents et créativité, ils façonnent Gala Gloves.
