The story of McAlson begins in 1997, when Pierre Deren grandson of Norman textile merchants, created the brand with his friend Jean-Pierre Galleyn to make up for the lack of elegant and comfortable underwear for men. The first collection of 8 briefs was an immediate success, thanks to the invisible cotton support and their fancy and exclusive prints.

Over time, Thibaud joined the team as a designer and Pierre-Henri took over as manager. The second generation of Deren is launched and the “McAlson” clan will prevail and the future of this fantastic Belgian brand.

McAlson combines preppy British style, Italian elegance with crazy French "je-ne-sais-quoi", and Belgian surrealism to create a line of modern high-quality briefs, both comfortable and elegant. McAlson is a very much like Pierre's 6th child: each season, the family members come together for the photo of the new collection.

McAlson created new special editions inspired by sporting or cultural event on a regular basis, to satisfy the desire for renewal. The brand does not compromise the quality of its finished products and designs them with a very particular attention to details. The fabrics are carefully chosen, woven and printed in Europe and the accessories, such as buttons, or elastic bands also come from local suppliers with whom the brand has worked since the beginning of their adventure. This is the secret of constant manufacturing quality.
