A FRENCH STORY

Lise Guitton and Mathilde Bon are the founders of Inouïtoosh, a young and atypical French brand based in the Bay de Somme (North-West of France). These two creatives left the busy streets of Paris to get closer to nature and find inspiration to fully realize their project.

DRAWING & CRAFTSMANSHIP - THE BRAND'S TRADEMARK

Every Inouïtoosh scarf has its own story to tell. The whole Inouïtoosh collection ressembles a painting exhibition: tiger, parrots, bisons and other icons come together to form a colorful and poetic universe. Each style is like a work of art, crafted by an attentive creative team. It roughly takes a week of drawing to design one style, plus a long trek (between 2-4 weeks) through India, to find the rarest weaving, printing, embroidery and finishing techniques.

What makes Inouïtoosh so unique, is its irregularity: prints are created through silk-screening. The finishes on fringes have a worn out effect and the final products have this tie & dye unpredictable rendering. This is the result of a beautiful synergy between designers, suppliers, and a collaborative creative team.
