It was while raising their children that Marianne Bisgaard and her husband Henrik had the idea to create the brand that now bears their name.

Indeed, their ‘parenting job’ got them to be at the heart of children's needs, to study their little feet grow and grow.

The couple's motto is rather simple: a perfect fit, natural raw materials and innovative design. Add a little splash of Scandinavian inspirations, sober, harmonious colors and you get the secret recipe of these quality shoes.

Bisgaard has a close, long-term relationship with its suppliers, who share a passion for responsible shoe-making.

The majority of Bisgaard shoes are made in Portugal, by highly skilled craftsmen, in SMETA and BSCI certified factories.
